Eagle Scout came pretty close. I confess I prefer cordial debate and on occasion I have felt hard pressed to put out flames in a few threads I have posted. I feel flames are contrary to debate and a waste of time. That said, today marks the first time I have placed a fellow DUer on ignore and it had nothing to do with flames. As a matter of fact we were not even speaking to each other and likely had never spoken in the past! I am not sure how I feel about having done this but I know for absolute certainty that I am more than revolted by this person's desire to advocate on behalf of this position in a public forum. So as opposed to flaming or debating with that person I used the ignore function. There was no wisdom we could share, no common ground I would ever seek with this character. So as a flame warrior...I suck, but other than the single time I have felt a need to hit the ignore button, I don't mind sucking as a flame warrior.
