Someone from an Allied Collection Group just called for someone else and claimed it was a "personal matter", which was a lie per a simple Google of the number (do these people not know about called ID and Google?). The caller did not disclose to me, the account holder of the line, that it was an attempt to collect a debt.

I called back, gave them MY name, and told the guy that a) I knew he lied to me, the account holder of the line, b) that I did not and DO not consent to being recorded, and c) that "If you call one more time I am reporting you and your company to the Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs".
