I don't have much sympathy for people who continually do things that make them feel ashamed. I call that addiction, and I don't know of any addiction that cannot be overcome.

It's a fucking message board, and nothing posted here is either going to save the world or win/lose elections.

We're 165,000 strong. Remember that in that number are TENS of thousands that have posted here once or twice and TENS of thousands more that don't even post in the political forums.

Hundreds of millions of people in this country have never heard of us and nearly that many couldn't care less what's discussed here.

As someone who rides zip lines for a living (semi-retired and doing it part time) I think jumping a shark on a pair of skis would be pretty cool.
