Dems Send More Cash to State Parties For Final 72 Hours

The Democratic National Committee transferred loads of cash to state parties across the country in a final get-out-the-vote push as they attempt to save the House from slipping from Democratic control and face multiple competitive Senate contests.

A DNC spokesman announced $2.67 million in transfers, making transfers for the cycle to state parties total more than $20 million. As we've reported, the DNC is flush with cash.

The Republican National Committee, which has been boosted by its own famed 72-hour program in previous cycles, had to take out a $2.5 million loan.

The states where Democrats are spending are home to some of the closest and most critical contests on Tuesday. Here are the totals:
