With no challenger at all, the primaries will be all about the Republicans. Little to no press will go to his campaign.

But as the OP states, if you support a primary challenge, you are a racist birther that wants the Republicans to win. (sarcasm)

Paint with a broad brush much?

Calling out progressives that are dissatisfied with the lack of leadership from the president is the best way to alienate the base, and get a Republican elected. Not all primary challengers are complete douche bags like Ted Kennedy was. He made a point of hurting Carter.

Anyone that calls me Unamerican, or a traitor, or a bigot, or an idiot for being very dissatisfied with the current administration will guarantee alienation.

Obama is still repeating the message that he want his feet held to the fire., so stop sucking his toes and pay attention to what is going on.
