Buried down inside an article today in the Guardian UK was a MAJOR nugget of phone hacking gold. Up until now there has been little official proof from Scotland Yard that MP's besides Tessa Jowell had been hacked. Everyone suspects, a few members have been told they "might" have been hacked but this new article says, and I quote: "A Scotland Yard briefing paper shows that "a vast number" of people had their phones hacked, including at least eight MPs."

Rupert Murdoch's minions were so emboldened by the right wing's grab at power that they decided to hack into the phones of MPs of the opposing (and their own) party. Murdoch was getting dirt on both the enemies of the right wing AND the right wing.

Also this week of MAJOR importance. The current big boss at Murdoch's Wall Street Journal used to be the big boss in England...and there is now proof that phone hacking was going on DURING his time in England. So, the story has officially jumped the pond. An American employee of Murdoch will now become part of the investigation. There is a VERY good chance that within the next couple of weeks (weeks, I say, because Murdoch has lost control of the story and there is more and more coming out every day) the American wing of Murdoch's empire will start to be part of the story. If for no other reason than the big boss is now becoming part of the hacking story...and that will bring the whole question of hacking into the American media circle.
