11. I can't remember exactly what he said in days gone by
that was a similar explosion, but it was enough that he was ostracized by the media that previously had given him a platform. McLaughlin eventually slid him back onto his (The McLaughlin Group) show, but it has taken Lawrence a long time to get back to where he would be given a second chance. I am thinking he might not be fired because there is a lot more tolerance these days by networks for political drama. The previous episode was a bit more politically charged, and watching it when it happened, I thought Lawrence might actually stroke out. I saw his reaction to Tate this evening, and while he was extremely passionate, he never appeared to be suffering a true loss of control.

I have always truly liked and admired him, but I was chagrined when I saw his willingness to attempt to fill KO's shoes, and I thought at the time he should have walked away. It seems on the same level as condoning the treatment KO was given, but in all fairness to Lawrence, Rachel said Keith quit. I guess we won't really know for some time the truth behind some of these events, but this one thing I do know. When Keith debuts on his new show, I will applaud his return and be there for as many broadcasts as I can.
