Drone Strike Kills Dozens At Wedding In Software Mishap
Advertisements [?]

London (AP) - In a tragic event today, an unmanned drone launched two Hellfire missiles into a crowd at Buckingham Palace resulting in dozens of casualties. The drone, part of a flyover at Buckingham Palace which included a vintage WWII bomber with fighter escort, followed by modern aircraft, veered from the formation, strafed the assembled cheering crowd, and launched its full payload of air to surface missiles. While investigation is in a very preliminary stage RAF Wing Commander Lionel Mandrake has stated, "It appears to be a mix up in the programming before the flyover. Someone had swapped out the 'British Royal Wedding' program for the 'Afhani Tribal Wedding' program, and I would say that other than that slight mishap, the drone performed flawlessly and impressively. So it can't be faulted on that score."
