Will Obama and Capital Dems Betray the Middle Class, Seniors and the Poor?
http://www.nationofchange.org/super-collusion-will-obama-and-capitol-dems-betray-middle-class-seniors-and-poor-1321110589

...Two new reports suggest that the President and Congressional Democrats are about to betray everything Democrats once stood for. Under pressure from Barack Obama, Democrats on the "Super Committee" have sketched out an appalling "compromise" proposal that would almost certainly doom both their 2012 electoral chances and his own. ...

...The Democratic proposal also includes cuts of $250 billion to providers under Medicare. Unless they're very well designed (they won't be), that will mean problems with access to doctors and adequacy of care.

There's also a cut of $100 billion in benefits for seniors. That would affect every single person in the United States who reaches retirement age, along with those who become disabled. ...

...It looks like Democrats will literally propose taking wheelchairs away from poor people so we can keep tax rates low for the wealthy. ...

4. One percent chance
There is a one percent chance that Obama and the Capital Dems
will not betray the middle class, seniors and the poor. The
99% chance is that the cheerleading team will rally the 99% to
not notice the betrayal by concentrating our attention on
cultural clash issues. That seems to be the operating
principle for both parties.

7. Besides the fact that this bullshit has been posted before, IT IS FALSE.
The premise of the article is an outright lie. As has been repeatedly reported by REPUTABLE news organizations there is NO deal and likely will not be.

11. DU creates its own "facts" out of rumor, innuendo, and Internet speculation
I'm getting kind of fed up with it, but that makes me the bad guy apparently.

Why the mods refuse to fact check I don't know

16. LOL, That's what you said when we predicted that Obama would dump the pubic option.
That's what you said when we predicted that Obama would renew the Bush tax breaks.
That's what you said when we predicted that Obama wouldnt close Gitmo.
You're blind loyalty is typical of the right wing. You must love Jeff Immelt and Obama's other conservative appointees.

19. The OP doesn't claim there's a deal so clearly you didn't read it before your knee jerk attack
The claim is that the Dems are OFFERING a contemptible compromise in collusion with the Obama admin.

Neither claim you made, that there's no deal nor is there likely to be, contradicts the OP.

8. That's who this guy is. Why the surprise? Obama is a defender of the status quo and a fierce
advocate for the 1%. Just look at health care "reform," extension of the Bush tax cuts for the rich and the so called payroll tax holiday, which was nothing more than a avenue to gradually defund the Social Security trust fund. Wake up, America Obama and too many of the democrats are not our friends. It's difficult to accept but just look at the record.

12. They alread have.
"Will Obama and Capital Dems Betray the Middle Class, Seniors and the Poor?"

Multiple times, and Obama has little to fear in the 2012 election to force him to protect any but his richest supporters.

And no doubt there will people who will flock to the polls to vote them in again...crying "It would be far worse if we elected a Republican!!" The old lesser evil ploy.Sick.

And he was all like, "I will open the doors of Government and ask you to be involved in your own Democracy again", that is..until the topic of Cannabis legalization came up...
