The Star Challenge

Ok say I am a dork but.....

Someone donated money to DU in my name when I posted that I got elected to city council. That means that I got a star and have access to all the honors, rights and privileges pertaining thereto. I think that was the nicest thing anyone has ever done for me (they don't even know me and they donate money in me name!!!) So here is my challenge, if you want to call it that.

Do you have a favorite poster on DU? Are they a member? If not, make a small donation in their name and get them to do the same for their favorite poster. A lot of us are active in local politics and DU is a great way for us to network and get ideas for local politics. We should think global and act local, after all.

I don't have any way to measure whether this 'challenge' is successful or not, but I am sure you can understand the good it could do. If nothing else, you will feel better about yourself and hey, you might even change the world. Who knows, a guy like me may make connections on DU and in a few years ill be a senator....and it all started here with an anonymous donation.
