Good News from Zogby
John Kerry has taken a slim lead over George Bush in Ohio by picking up a net of nearly 6 points in less than a month.

Kerry has widened his lead in Wisconsin to nearly 10%.

In New Mexico, Kerry has also lengthened his lead to 9%.

In Nevada, Kerry has reduced Bush's lead to less than 2%, with Nader at nearly 6%

You link on to the sound bites on the right hand side of the page

Also, take a peek of the overall battleground numbers and his Electoral College estimate (Kerry 322-Bush 205)

2. Maybe it's dawning on everyone
there's a Messianic lunatic in the WH. I don't think all this "God is talking through me" stuff is playing well with anyone but the nutso freeper fringe.

4. GOOD! But Keep In Mind
We have to keep hammering the hell out of Bush & Co. if we want to keep hearing things like this. Keep pressing him and not rest till we are there on Nov. 3rd at 12am.

Keep moving forward, don't look back, we will never surrender!

8. how do these number compare to July/August 2000?
anyone know?

As I recall Gore was ahead about the time of the convention and after. Not to rain on any parades, just want to know if it is us or the calendar.

11. I Don't Remember
an Incumbent running in that race, do you.

Races with sitting incumbents running for reelction have a certain trend.

Open seats are far more volitile.

No Incumbent has won reelction if his approval rating was below 50% at ant time during the election year, since 1948.

No Incumbent President has won reelction since 1948 if his challanger lead in any major national poll at any time during the election year.

Ford, Carter, and Bush Sr. have this pattern and lost.

Eisenhower, Johnson, Nixon, Reagan, and Clinton had the opposite pattern and won.

Any other comparison to an open seat is invalid.

10. Well, after all Gore did win. That is not being coy; he actually won
Florida by a landslide except for the ignoramuses and the fraud.
