She was explaining that she had received hundreds of letters that bascally said she shouldn't be so condescending to red voters, and should reach out some more.

As she recalled these letters, she just went off on a 5 minute monologue, crying throughout. But she was fucking angry and spitting out some fantastic bile. Her basic point was that she has every right to be as condescending as she liked to the bigoted, End of Days crowd.

Very powerful. And very funny too.

I am intern of the MR and I was in the producer's booth during the interview.

One of the producers was brought into a conversation about gay marriage because he was raised by gay parents. The producer was not shoved but Hannity shows his bigotry by not acknowledging that his parents, being gay, could do a good job.

He was rude the whole time there. If you noticed, we didn't have our usual Host Chat to start the show because Hannity just stormed into the station and sat down at the mic and started talking. He got most of us pissed off and then slithered out through the backdoor before we could start a shitstorm.

68. Some of the e-mails we get at AAR are quite funny...

I read one today where a noticeably belligerent (the whole e-mail was in capital letters) person was going off about Garofalo's insistent remarks of how some of the democrats have not been motivated. The person went on to showcase his knowledge of the female reproductive system through the use of slang curse words. He said that when he heard JG on Hannity's show yesterday, she saw how "narrow-minded" and "illogical" she had become. I sent back an e-mail to this person saying:

"Thanks for being a loyal listener (you must be listening everyday if you can say Janeane has BECOME narrow-minded).
