liberals for years, and what did it get them? Control of the entire fucking government.

This idea that the Dems lost the election because we "look down on" and "don't try to understand" the red state people is just repugs trying to get the Dems to roll over and quietly whimper.

We just had a campaign where the Dem candidate ran as pro-war, pro-military, pro-tax cuts, and had to make sure he wore his religion on his sleeve so nobody would miss it. How much more conciliatory do they expect the Dems to be?

There aren't entire states made up of these people, and it certainly isn't all religious people, but there are people that want to pull this country back to the 19th century. They are a drag on society that we must overcome.

These are the people that say us heathens are going to get what we deserve when their god comes and slaughters us all, while they get whisked away to their heavenly eternity.
