Seriously, Kohl's? A radio jingle about your Black Friday sale set to the tune of Rebecca Black's Friday? There are no words in Elvish, Entish or the tongues of Man to describe just how fucking stupid that is.

1. Personally, for many I think it's just a tune to hate because it's cool to hate it. |

. . . It's not a bad pop tune and it's got a REALLY catchy hook. . . . I bet MANY more people like it than will ADMIT to liking it in public. . . . (on edit) And, C'MON!!! Black's Friday/Black Friday? That's kinda clever. . . .

2. The Dwarves had a word for it, I think, but it had no vowels. |

3. Two out of the 3 Walmart commercials about "Black Friday" |
|
that I've seen have had Black actor/characters in an awkward connotation:
In one, a young Black woman is at the electronics department and is in a stupified trance, stroking a t.v. Then the voice prattles on about "Black Friday."
In another, a White woman is being all thrilled about prices or who knows what, supposedly addressing a Black employee, then suddenly goes "BOO" or something, startling the dude. And then there's the "Black Friday" theme.
Some might say I'm reading too much into it, overreacting, but I mean it's sort of a WTF moment.
