Um, yeah, NOT. He doesn't know too much about cold, hunger, and deprivation.

Life is hard for this one. He has to choose between the couch and the queen sized bed at night. And, he prefers bottled water to tap (no kidding, he really does, and lets me know in no uncertain terms that he wants his water to come from the bottled water stash in the pantry).

1. WHAT IF....

What if, when the dog is asleep somewhere else in the house, that you take the bottle water and you fill it up with tap water then put it back into the pantry.

Your dog is conditioned - he knows his water comes from the Pantry and not the tap. But I doubt he'll notice the difference.

2. Our tap water is kind of gross.

I don't mind. I guess I could refill bottles from the Brita pitcher like I do with my icemaker, but I'm usually too lazy. He gets tap sometimes, but he barks at me to get him the good stuff.

4. Never give my dogs tap water. It is gross

I run it through the Pur filter pitcher.
