3. I like it because in the "grow a pair" usage, it encompasses both sexes.
Slang for testicles, but literally means eggs. Not as sexist as your straight-up English "balls."

5. I prefer the New Mexico version.
With chili verde, instead of chili rojo. Chili verde is one of mankind's greatest inventions. It ranks right up there with pesto.
