1. I had seen that picture once before... but from the caption that you seem to have erased...
.

.
.
.
.
... I was expecting to find something completely un-postable on DU.

5. I was teasing. I added that caption... and my joke came AFTER my impulse to make a "fahrt" joke. n/t

8. Well, at least the impulse was there
that is somehow comforting in a perverse way.

6. I think it means The Exit. But I expected some would see it that way.

7. My German is rusty and was never good to begin with. But . . .
Shouldn't it be 'mit den Twins?'

;)

9. Actually, the German word for "twins" is "Zwillinge", bt no one would have...
.
.
.
... gotten the joke.
.
And the correct word would not have been "der" or "den", but "die" (the
plural form), but paired with the English word "twins", some might have
associated it with "death" and lost the joke entirely.
.
.
.
It's the Intertubes. We haz fast n loose mit der language geplayen.
.
.
.
Actually, "the boys" would have been properer.

13. No, twins would be plural and mit takes dative case so it is der.
