Or are they just held because the law requires them? I'm sure there have to have been other meetings like this and yet, nothing ever seems to change. They can pour carcinogens into the ground and somehow they have decided that's OK.
I'm just really discouraged about the whole thing.

I give extra credit to my government student to attend a public meeting (city, county, state) but I think this will get them some big time points!
I have posted on facebook and sent a ltte since reading this.
