We need to set our sights a bit higher, and stop trusting (most) career politicians.

I think the only way we will ever bring about real change is to first give our election system a complete overhaul. The Democrats are purposefully unwilling to do this, and I think we know it won't happen with the Republicans. Our only hope of doing this is to have a President that demands for it, and our only hope of that is to make our own grassroots movement with a single agenda....elect a true Progressive President, who is preferably not a career politician. I know it sounds silly and childish, but social networking sites are the best place to begin a movement such as this that has any hope of garnering national attention. I have started such a group on Facebook called "The Plan for 2016." Maybe some of you can take a look and tell me what you think? Good idea? Already tried a million times? I'd rather not get a bunch of replies with people telling me how gay I am for trying this out. Some things you can't know unless you try, and I am just so tired of putting my hopes in these spineless Dems. Thanks for your time, and I hope to hear back from you.
