Daschle calls nuclear option 'disaster'
Posted: Monday, May 05, 2008 5:23 PM by Domenico Montanaro

Tom Daschle, an Obama supporter, said today that undecided superdelegates would be more than "ticked" if the Clinton campaign tries to force the so-called "nuclear option" and encourages the Rules and Bylaws committee, which meets May 31st, to seat the Florida and Michigan delegates.

The former South Dakota senator said he was amazed at the number of undecided superdelegates that have called him in the last 24 hours saying that it would be an "absolute disaster."

Asked if the superdelegates would be "ticked" if the nuclear option were implemented he replied, "If we overturn what has happened in all these elections all over the country and do something like that, ticked is mild compared to the feeling I am getting from reports all over the country today."

2. One Of The...
...late night radio personalities here in San Francisco (KGO) said there would likely be a race riot in Denver, if that happened.

It took decades for the Democratic party to cleanse itself of the stain from the 1968 riots in Chicago. I don't see it being allowed again, even if the polling shows Obama losing to McCain in Ohio and Pennsylvania this Fall.

It's easier to punt the ball down the field and try again in 2012. It's less risky for the party.

3. I wouldn't take Ray all that seriously
(I'm guessing this is coming from Ray)

He's full of passion but isn't always in touch with reality.

4. Nope...
...it's the guy on before Ray. Ray's too late for me unless I've been a bad boy at the dinner table and the 'ol acid reflux is bothering me again.

Yes, Ray is full of passion but he's sometimes a little nuts. I've actually heard him repeat some of the things I've said in emails to him. So, I know he reads them.

7. ah.. I don't remember who's before him
haven't lived out that way in a while.

I actually like Ray and I think he's probably a pretty good human.. just a bit over excitable. ;)

9. There's A...
...flakiness about him. He'll be going along just fine and then all of a sudden go off the rails.

I have a feeling it's part of his act.

8. Bigger disaster would be president Obama
He is the least experienced senator. He has not run
any business, a state government, County government,
City government, and has ZERO executive experience.

He has been a back bencher in senate, and voted to fund
Iraq war while talking platitudes.

Vote Hillary!
