Angry Clinton supporters tell party leaders: 'Let's go McCain!'
From CNN Associate Political Editor Rebecca Sinderbrand

WASHINGTON (CNN) – Democratic leaders hopeful that a deal to seat delegates from Florida and Michigan would mark an end to the deep division the controversy has brought to the party got some instant – and less than encouraging – feedback as they finalized the measure Saturday evening.

As members of the Democratic National Committee's Rules and Bylaws panel voted in favor of the measures, some supporters of Hillary Clinton's White House bid rose from their seats and began to shout “Don’t steal my vote!” and “Let’s go, McCain!” Several paced the back of the ballroom, yelling at the committee members and chanting “Denver! Denver!” – the site of this summer's Democratic presidential nominating convention. When Barack Obama’s name was mentioned, boos filled the room.

"This motion will hijack, hijack, remove four delegates won by Hillary Clinton and most importantly reflect the preferences of 600,000 Michigan voters,” said Clinton senior adviser and RBC member Harold Ickes, who added that the White House hopeful reserved her right to bring an appeal before the DNC's Credentials Committee later this summer.

The delegate allocations were a blow to Clinton, who comes away with an advantage of just 24 delegates. She is favored in Sunday’s Puerto Rico primary. But Obama is thought to hold an edge going into next Tuesday’s contests in Montana and South Dakota – meaning Clinton’s chances of pushing Obama’s delegate lead down into the double digits before the Democratic convention have virtually disappeared....

Boston native and Clinton backer Jenny Doggett, an organizer of grassroots group Count the Votes Cast, called the DNC “spineless.” “I think what they’ve done is divisive, destroying the party. I’m disgusted,” said Doggett, who expressed hope that the popular vote in Puerto Rico and a shift in superdelegates might still be able to deliver the nomination to Hillary Clinton. “I’m done with the Democratic Party,” she added. “I’m an independent voter now.”...

2. "I'm done with the Democratic party"
So there is some good that will come of this. Last thing our party needs is someone like Jenny Doggett.

4. To the lady from Boston, STFU! If your from one of the states, I can understand.
But where were you when everyone thought it was ok to silence the vote in the first place.. AND why didn't we get a re-vote.. there was plenty of time to do something.. This is just so disingenuous.... I believe had all the candidates campaigned in FL, Edwards would have done superbly better with his populous message and with a FL that is hurting economically...

5. These vociferous "supporters" are actually just bigots in sheeps clothing
They don't want to vote for Obama not because they like Hillary but because Obama is black. It's as simple as that. These silly issues they keep reaching for are nothing but excuses to hide their racism. Let the GOP have them. It's where they belong.

6. And the quixotic
desperation to get her elected just because of her gender, some twisted and perverse form of feminism that has found as its champion a woman who would be nothing but another unknown Arkansas lawyer if not for riding the coattails of her husband.

Cookies, anyone?

7. Absolutely!
Watching the anger, the out of control anger being displayed reminds me soooooooo much of a KKK rally. And, if you just scratch the surface a little, that is just what it is.

9. These "femnists" would vote for a man that dumped his crippled wife
for a younger, richer model. I wish I could post what I really think about them but I'd be banned.

Cindy McCain and Jay Leno joke about candidate's bad driving
http://www.wtop.com/?nid=213&sid=1396310

When the couple first met at a party _ she was a 25-year-old teacher, he was a 42-year-old Navy officer separated from his wife _ they fibbed about their ages. Cindy McCain added four years to her age, while McCain lopped four years off his.

"We found out when we applied for our marriage license _ they publish it in the newspaper," she told Leno.

And they didn't exactly hit it off at the party.

"He kind of chased me around ... an hors d'oeuvre table," she said. "I was trying to get something to eat and I thought, 'You know, this guy's kind of weird.'"
