And have you listened to it's radio sibling... NPR... lately?
Good god. The morning drive-time show: is that supposed to be irony... or what? Today they have a 15 minute interview with one of the top "US in Afghanistan" generals. Not a single question challenged the official line ... which was how 'now we've *really* got it figured out how were going to install a US-friendly gov't on the the Afghans which is at the same time desired by the Afghan people'.
An impossibility. If we want to install a puppet gov't can't we at least have the decency to call it " A PUPPET GOVERNMENT"? But not a single follow-up along those lines from NPR's news hounds.
We've officially entered the 'post-Helen Thomas' era, one fears.
