The Reason Republicans will vote for Kerry
) Republican veterans will vote with Democratic veterans for John Kerry because they are smarter than the sound bites give them credit for. John Kerry fought for the USA, killed for the USA and saved lives for the USA and when he came home from Viet Nam felt the war was wrong and will not bring us to war unless absolutely necessary--Veterans respect that because most of them have children who they wish to instill the values of service and morality. And the stark contrast between someone who tells us who are enemies are and pulled strings to avoid service versus someone who fully serves but has a conscience couldn't be clearer.

2)Republican fiscal conservatives will vote for John Kerry because they have seen the record surplus Clinton left and the record deficit it’s become under Bush. They have seen the corporate welfare and the record spending and they will vote for John Kerry. And Despite what the media may say they would rather see 15 billion dollars go to life on earth instead of the search for life on Mars.

3) Religious republicans will vote for John Kerry because racism, division, promoting hatred and being uncharitable is against the teaching of most religions and so is an unjustified war.

4) Conservative republicans will vote for John Kerry because they see our freedoms eroding and they certainly are not in favor of big government.

5) Three of the most respected republicans Colin Powell, Mrs.Reagan and John McCain are voting for John Kerry. (Okay I am just guessing but I think you all know they are)

May this find everyone out there happy and well,
Vinnie

2. I think this is one of the real un-reported stories...
It's likely that many, many Republicans -- once they're in the privacy of the voting booth -- are going to cast their ballots for John Kerry.

They may not say so publicly, but in their heart of hearts they know that Bush has let them down terribly, and that JK will make a much better president.

Thank our Founders we have a secret ballot in this country!

3. Save America please - Vote for Kerry
And here are 10 more reasons...

The 10 Commandments of A Compassionate Conservative

I am the LORD your God, you shall have no other gods before me; my name is George W. Bush and I approve this message!

You shall not take the Name of the LORD your God in vain; or we will arrest you!

Keep holy the Sabbath day; for we are Judea-Christian and NOT-Muslim or Hindu!

Honor your father and your mother; unless they ask for Social Security or Medicare.

You shall not kill; unless you can get “all volunteer military” to do it for OIL!

You shall not commit adultery; but if you do, it shall only be between a man & woman!

You shall not steal; unless they have “OIL” & we want it.

You shall not bear false witness; unless it is to get OIL.

You shall not covet your neighbor's wife, unless she has OIL and you can get it that way.

You shall not covet your neighbor's goods; unless it is OIL.

“To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American Public” – Teddy Roosevelt, 1918

Bushies: Screw Teddy!

And they call us Democrats undemocratic and anti-American. Sheesh.

4. I just saw my first Republicans For Kerry Bumper Sticker last week.
'what a nice experience that was. I am not gloating yet, In fact I may never gloat, but im pleased to see his numbers melting. The rise and run of Kerry's support is just about right .

7. New soldier
Has anyone read the "New Soldier" book Kerry wrote in the 70s? Do you think this is the October Surprise?

8. Let us not forget the Republican Noise Machine...
With the Sinclair hit piece coming out, and all the ads featuring widows of POWS airing on 24-hour cable news, don't count Rove and his gang out yet. Remember what McCain faced in 2000. These men are political jackals.

11. I dont' think so
I dont think Repubs will vote for Kerry any more than Demos will vote for bush - everyone is becoming polarised. They all want their guy in, and the other guy out.

the election will turn on the undecided voters who haven't made up their minds yet

13. These two Republican Speeches would have Abe Lincoln voting for Kerry!
I saw this post when browsing my hometown newspaper a few days ago. One is a speech by Abraham Lincoln and the other by Newt Gingrich. Everyone should take some time and read these before voting. I'd bet Abe Lincoln would even be voting for Kerry if he were alive.
