Is Tom Delay in trouble?
He's been running alot of commercials here in the Houston area. I know he's had some kind of scandal. Is he in a real fight or do they always run lots of ads whether they are being challenged or not?

2. DeLay commited both bribery and extortion

The House "admonished" him. I'm wondering if an elected prosecutor, or a "special" prosecutor is interested in this case?

3. High negatives and good timing for ethics charges
Richard Morrison may have a chance.

I bet that the Houston Chronical will endorse Morrison. The Chronical has come out against Delay a couple of times in a row.

BTW, the latest Delay ads are just plain weak. One ad brags that Delay cares about kids and so he is a forster parent. I would hate to have any kid under the tender care of this piece of filth.

4. I really liked the Morrison ad I saw
Edited on Sat Oct-16-04 11:08 AM by TheFarseer
He basically says, I'm not trying to be the most powerful man in Washington. I'm just a regular guy that wants to be your rep. Very basic, but I think it could actually work.

on edit - I hate those ads that are all, I care about kids or I care about seniors. yeah, I bet the other guy is like, "Fuck the kids!" Unfortunately, people are NOT smarter than that.

5. The Travis Co DA is coming for him -
after Collyandro, Ellis et al have cut their deals and had their day in court.
Its just a mattre of time.
Yes DeLay is in trouble and the irony is his redistricting case has been remanded back to the lower court by the Supreme Court. It all could unravel.

Deep down i wonder if DeLay knows this.
