I'm listening to Drudge tonight........ |
|
It's absolutely the most pathetic thing I've ever heard. He's talking about a guy that registered to vote more than once, how the Democrats are going to sue and riot if we lose, small time election corruption and he's playing clips of democrat no-bodys giving speeches that get a little carried away and then making fun of the music they play at the campaign rally! It's just really sad. Yuck it up repukes. Even they know they are going to lose and maybe lose badly.

4. I hadn't listened in a long time |

Just wanted to see what he was talking about before the election. He used to be almost fun to listen to when he was trashing the Patriot Act on a weekly basis.

7. Last night I was driving back from visiting friends at about 10:15PM... |
|
...and I happened to scan in on Drudge who is on 540am dial in our area and I listened for about three minutes. In that interval Drudge managed to spew out about 30 falsehoods. I rarely listen to that station on the weekend, although I enjoy listening to George Nory's Coast to Coast on weeknights. However, whenever I have listened to Drudge, I come away with the same impression, and that is that most of what Drudge reports and then comments on are distortions or completely made up. I think he does that for impact and obviously entertainment, because that is the business he is in.
Like most commercial consumer products I believe that broadcast programs should come with warning labels, that inform consumers of what the ingredients of the program are, how much is fact, how much is conjecture, how much total outright lies and also warn consumers of the potential hazards listening to the show might pose. That's just my opinion for what it's worth.

Drudge is on here in Baton Rouge on Sunday night on AM radio. I would say it is definietly better to listen than to go to his web site, however, because he makes money on each click on the web site.
I can understand why you may be listening, if you are out driving, cause likely there is not much of anything except Hate Radio out there now.
But I just bought a Belkin Tunecast II today and I download the Mike Malloy show and when I am driving now on Sunday, or whenever(cause I don't have Sirius and AAR is not in Baton Rouge), I will play the latest episode that I have downloaded (from airamericaplace) on my Ipod and feed it through the Tunecast to listen to on my car radio.
Totally awesome!
