I received this after I sent some stats around that were apparently being handed out in a church. I did it to counter act the fire and brimstone stuff a born again friend frequently sends. This guy is on the list:
Love all this religious "mumbo jumbo" and the statistics. First of all, I've never been one for statistics as ANYONE depending on their motivation can tweak ANY number, in ANY category to make it fit their agenda. It's called spin, and that dog don't hunt at my house. I suppose that Bush is responsible for the increase in abortions, infant mortality, lack of health insurance, poverty, and deaths in Iraq? You can throw all the numbers you want (not impressive) but have you investigated the CAUSES of these increases? Was there any increase at the end of that guy pretending to be our president's term (clinton). Just as the economy slipping during his last eight months and Bush inherited it, are any of these other categories also inherited by Bush? I don't know, but somehow I have a feeling that they are. As far as economy, anyone that has spent more than 10 minutes studying economy and history knows that our economy moves in cycles and that the president has almost nothing to do with it. That is, clinton's big claim to fame, other than being a complete shitbag is his "it's the economy stupid." Guess what........... clinton reaped what Reagan sowed years earlier. It's a cycle and tweaks to the economy RARELY are seen instantly or even during a four year term.
Now, let's look at this religious crap you are throwing. Let's start with the vatican at the bottom and your war statistics. Sure, we've lost 1,100 troops in Iraq. They are our troops and we can account for that number. I'll give you 1,100 troops, that's not spin. Ever been in the military? Sure, any death is sad, but most of those troops were doing EXACTLY what they wanted to be doing and that simple fact is ........... KILLING raghead pieces of shit. It's an ALL volunteer force............. they raised their hands and then verbally stated that they'd "Protect the US against all enemies, foreign and domestic." It was their job, they died...................... I HONOR them every freak'n minute of every day. That's what they do and as sad and callous as it may sound, 1,100 troops for the kind of operations they are conducting is pretty freak'n light in both modern and profession military numbers. Damn near THAT many Americans die on our highways EVERY week in this country and nobody says shit about it. On to the vatican.......................... the vatican can suck my ass on any opinion about war and oppression. They sat on the sidelines and did nothing about the holocaust, they've watched genocide happen for decades, they sponsored the Crusades and most recently, their record on priests and little boys makes me want to puke. Throw any number you want at me and any statement condemning the war........ but holy shit, don't tell me what the vatican thinks about anything. "Moral failure" .............................. you have to be kidding me !!!!
Still on the war................... say and think what you want. Vote for whoever you want. Condemn the war, protest the war, support the ACLU weakening the Patriot Act. Support the ACLU and protest again racial profiling........... but the truth is that our enemies will NOT stop until we defeat them. I said defeat. Defeat means DESTROY, KILL, and just freak'n blast them until it is NOT WORTH IT for them to target and attack us. I know it's hard to understand and for some of you earth muppet, ivory soap using, sandal wearing, volvo driving, bark eating, don't shave your legs, makeup challenged, left wing, hippy, freakshows........................... that means that if NOT defeated, someday someone named mohammed will enter your house, rag on head, bayonet on AK and he will GUT YOU like a pig. WAR, WAR, Boo Hoo, stop the war......... wake the hell up and lose the retarded, typical, SOFT American mindset. Get off your freak'n couch, drop the hostess products and remote control long enough to understand that our enemy is willing to fly airplanes into building and detonate car bombs (while sitting in the car) to defeat us.
