Man fired gun near occupied homes, troopers say

A Longswamp Township man was arrested early Sunday after walking around his property firing a gun about 2:30 a.m., state police said.

Matthew R. Ludy, 27, was charged with recklessly endangering another person.

Troopers gave this account:

State police were sent to Ludy's home in the first block of Benfield Road on reports that he was ranting and raving around his property and firing a gun. The gun was fired close to occupied homes.
