Apparently, Republicans are getting tired of President Obama blaming poor George W. Bush for the mess that he helped create during the past 8 years. Cry me a river, Repubs!!!!!! I guess their "Department of History Revisionism" is making the bold claim that they were NOT, in fact, totally charge of the country for SIX of the last eight years and that we did not have Bush/Cheney in the WH for the full EIGHT years.

In case they want to keep complaining, they would do well to remember how much they tried to pin 9/11 on President Clinton and twisted themselves into knots to absolve Bush for his inattention to the warnings prior to 9/11!
:puke:

3. Right
They were, as Al Franken called them, the "Blame America's Ex-President First Crowd" during the last 8 years. Some days it almost seemed as though they believed that Clinton was running a "Shadow Presidency" and that Bush/Cheney, despite their manufactured "resolute" image, were completely at his mercy. The hypocrisy is so bright you have to wear shades!

4. The MSM doesn't want to give Obama the benefit of the doubt
Which is why whenever it's brought up that most of Americans problems were either started by Bush...or he made them worse, is immediatly met with ridicule and excuse. Saying "Obama is the President now" blah blah blah. Presidents inherit the country as it has been given to them. George Bush handed Barack Obama so many clusterfucks.

5. President Obama will be quite lucky IMHO
just to get our country more or less back to how it was when President Clinton left office- if not make it better. It will be awhile IMHO before President Obama has to really "own" the state of the country- and when he does I have no doubt that it will be MUCH better than what he got handed. After all, most Democrats aren't in the business of TRYING to make government fail like the Republicans are (IMHO there is no clearer difference between the two parties than THAT!)

6. If President Obama didn't keep reminding
everyone then the corporatemedia and the repus would sweep down the reagan memory hole.

7. Actually Bush was not in the WH for 8 years. He was on vacation at least 3 of them.

8. True
Of course, that was part of the problem. Not caring about whether or not government works right or is helping anybody is not a very hard job at all.

10. Thank G-D we have somebody who doesn't let them!
We've allowed them to engage in their historical revisionism for far too long IMHO.
