I sometimes think the Dem party gets co-opted by the rightwing fringe.

3. NO Health Care Reform! |
|
Most Duers appear to be promoting that line - is that the one you are talking about - after all if we can't get the bill we want it is better to have nothing. RIGHT?

then yes, nothing is better. That logic isn't all that complicated, is it?

11. Talking points don't need logic, just (seemingly constant) repetition. nt |

8. Honestly, i was very upset with not getting a stromger package but... |

I came to realize that America makes change through slow increments. However, the biggest obstacle isnt the people's fear of change since we all know that the last presidential election overwhelmingly asked for it, but the media's consistent manipulation and downright lying about events to better create their reality of news, and our leaders ease of corruption to better fulfill the desires of their true constituents: the Corporations. In all of that real change for the better and for the people will always be slow. And so any movement in the positive direction is always a good one. That is my realization and so in the end i am now tolerant of the bill as it exists. It isnt perfect and stood little chance of that but it is something and America needs something that can be labeled positive change.
