Someone called re political survey today. |
|
I realized how uninformed I am on a local level. I also see how underused this forum is. I am making it a point to become informed on a local level. Janet Napalitano, Raul Grijavala (sp?) Terry Goddard are the only local people I am informed about. Can we get some people interested in educating us about current local politicians and update us with what they are up to lately? I am not concerned about the vote as I vote the dem ticket strictly, but would like to be more informed.... am ashamed of myself.

I vote the straight ticket too, not that there's much to vote for in my district - many seats go unchallenged by Dems :-(

2. Ed Pastor is the other Democratic rep from AZ |
|
And both Pastor (my rep) and Grijalva are part of the House Progressive Caucus.
For more info, check out www.azdem.org, sign up for their email updates, and, I hear, in a little while they may have a pretty extensive roster of AZ elected officials.
