Anyone in Tucson going to the 9/24 rally
at Catalina Park, or taking part in the march to the Speedway recruiting center? I've got my welding class that morning at the Pima downtown campus but will leave early to join everyone.

1. Is there a Catalina Park in Tucson proper?
Or do you mean Catalina State Park, up off of Oracle?

7. Thanks for the information, Luna_chick.
Knew there was a march/rally in Phoenix, but a lot of Tucson folks just can't get up there, especially with the cost of gas.

Hmm, many probably can't go to Phoenix for the same reason many couldn't evacuate from NOLA, no car or no cash for gas. And with evacuees from NOLA in Tucson, it is especially good that people can get together to exercise their rights to speak freely about their profound disapproval of BUSHCO policies of destruction and death.

Wish I could be there with you folks down in the Baked Apple for these healthy expressions of rejection of bush* policies.

Ah, Catalina City Park... such fond memories of pirates, renegades, and REAL American values in the Fourth Ave. 'hood. ;)
