Dear Terry,
Thank you for contacting me to express your support for President Bush to meet with Cindy Sheehan. I appreciate receiving your comments.

As you know, Ms. Sheehan's son died serving his country in the war on terror. President Bush met with her initially in June of 2004 to offer his condolences for her loss. More recently, Ms. Sheehan has demanded a second meeting with President Bush, and has been leading anti-war protests in Crawford, Texas and Washington, D.C., calling for the U.S. to withdraw from Iraq.

I am aware of the sacrifices made during war and, though my prayers go out to Ms. Sheehan and other parents who have lost loved ones in the war on terror, I believe that the immediate withdrawal of U.S. troops would not be in our national security interest.

While we may disagree on this subject, I thank you for sharing your comments.
Please do not hesitate it do so again in the future.

Dear Mr. Flake,
I received your letter in the mail regarding Cindy Sheehan and our request for a meeting with the President and withdrawal of troops from Iraq. In your letter you state that you support this war and you do not agree with the withdrawal of troops. I suppose then with your devout support for a war that we know was based on lies to the American people and the world, you will be willing to send your children male and female and your grandchildren to fight in this war {with gun in hand on the front lines,in harms way like our children are, make no mistake about what I am suggesting here). I will look forward to seeing in the news your children or grandchildren going into harms way. Put your blood where your mouth is or SHUT THE HELL UP. If you claim to represent Americans and keep to this kind of opinion on a war that is immoral in the eyes of so many, you will certainly be willing to actually represent us in the truest sense, right?
