ROGERS, Ark. -- President George W. Bush will visit Rogers on Monday, where he is to include a speech on economic policies in a full day of events.

Bush is scheduled to travel to Rogers from his ranch at Crawford, Texas.

Bush will visit a business that makes retail display cases -- Stribling Packaging -- in the morning. The president will later speak about the budget at the John Q. Hammons Convention Center. About 300 Arkansas business leaders are invited to the talk, officials said.

A spokesman for Republican Rep. John Boozman said the trip gives northwest Arkansas a chance to draw attention to some of its business-related attributes, such as the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas and the Arkansas World Trade Center in Rogers.
