Walking the area showed a large amount of garbage of various types; I got tired of it and brought up a few trash bags and spent hours bagging up trash from LC/Mulholland going east; I tied the bags and left them, and emailed the SMMC about having done so, yet they were never picked up. People continue to use the area as a trash can, and some people even dump there, right along Mulholland.
I can appreciate that they are attempting to preserve the area, but it could go even further. :shrug:
(I've also cleaned up Coldwater Canyon going north from Mulholland, and what was the most common item? Nails. Of all types. Out to Ventura Blvd., I picked up more than I could hold in one hand. What is going on?)
