8. He Started The Petition Drive as a Private Citizen

TABOR was voted down several times before it was approved in 1992. That was the same year that the voters approved Amendment 2, which stripped gays of all their rights. It never went into effect - it was immediately challenged and later ruled unconstitutional.

Anyone in Colorado can submit an initiative to place on the ballot. Doug Bruce just does it more often, and his ideas are more asinine.

And he was just nominated in teh same district that used to be represented by Betty Beedy, the woman who said that all welfare mothers were sluts.
