Salazar up 4 points in latest poll.
CO: Worried GOP Touts Poll Showing Coors
Losing to Salazar, Coors Turns Back on Clean
Campaign Pledge
******************************************************

The National Republican Senate Committee (NRSC) clearly sees the
currently Republican held Senate seat in Colorado slipping from
their fingers. What else would explain their release of a new
poll paid for by the NRSC showing Democratic Attorney General
with a lead of 47-43 over Pete Coors who is running in part to
lower the drinking age from 21 to 18 (he does sell beer, after
all)? Late last week the NRSC released a poll conducted for them
by the Tarrance Group showing their candidate losing to our
candidate even after massive publicity he received after winning
the GOP primary. It's hard for us to see what exactly the NRSC
is crowing about - but hey - more power to them.

Also in Colorado, a shadowy GOP third party group known as
Americans for Job Security (AJS) is running an ad against
Salazar which editorial writers have termed "sleazy" "slime" and
a "slur." AJS is a Republican front group for candidates like
Pete Coors and the national Republican Party - so it's not a
surprise that Coors has refused to denounce the ad despite
saying after the primary that he opposes third party groups
running such negative ads in Colorado.

3. Salazar's campaign has done a good job refuting the AJS smear
he's running some great ads.

He's gonna win!

There are Salazar signs all over my neighborhood, even more than kerry signs.

5. Salazar wins!
I met him and was impressed. I think he would make a great senator.

Much better than Pete Coors, a blueblood with a radical right background.
