It gets old sometimes, but I think from a campaign standpoint - they don't want to give too much notice for security reasons and/or to give other groups a chance to stage some counter-rally or to disrupt this rally.
I hope you get to go though - I'm up in Denver so I'll miss it.

Musgrave-R(author of FMA) is fighting hard to keep her seat.
Beauprez-R Won his seat by a few hundred votes.
3rd district is going to John Salazar after 12 years of Scott Fruitcake McInnis.
Colorado is shaping up for a fight.
