Check in: Bush and Salazar signs in the same yards?
I've been seeing this a lot. Anyone else, or is this a Western Slope phenomenon?

I find it heartening. :)

2. Salazar fought successfully for land and water rights
Of Colorado ranchers and farmers. His campaign slogan is: "For land, water and the people of Colorado" which tells you something. He is a moderate Dem and he has alot of support in rural Colorado.

3. Also, a lot of those people are pissed at Coors.
He is associated with the company, which has been responsible for many pollution problems. Whereas Salazar is trusted. If Coors can't win the rural vote, he is screwed bad, since those people usually vote for Republicans. All this might be why the Right Wing Mountain News endorsed Salazar over Coors. The main thing being that they think Coors is screwed and don't want to waste an endorsement on him.

4. Same combo in Ft. Collins
My first thought was that it was a house divided: wife vs. husband, or two roommates warring.

But now this post makes me reconsider. Salazar is pretty conservative by my standards. Pro-death penalty, for example. I can see how a Republican could lean towards him over Coors.

5. IN Metro Denver, I see Coors signs, but no B/C signs...
...in the same yards. So I think we'll cancel your side of the Rockys out.:hi:
