What the hell just happened in Denver?
I was sitting, alongside a large window in the side of a building, when I notice that all the sudden, the sun just dimmed by about 40%. I look out, and the sky is all brown. Overhear people say it's snowing, others say it seems like its ash? Massive sudden winds too. Being a panicky sort, I rush online to make sure no nuclear bomb has gone off or something, but yeah, anyone know what's going on?

2. well, i dunno.
After I posted, I went back to see, and it was snowing and the sky was white. Then it stopped snowing entirely a couple minutes later. I couldn't find anything on weather information online (nor anything along the lines of "something massive exploded"), but a friend says she saw a weather site saying it was dust. Don't know what from though.

3. Check out this months Discover Mag.
It talks about dust from Asia making its way here.

4. It got dark here, too, then snow flurries. Now, it's just a few flakes
drifting down. Nothing is on the ground and the sidewalk is just damp. The dark has lifted and the sky is brighter, still overcast and I can't see the mountains.

Springtime in the Rockies.

6. We were out the other day and the smog was awful
Hubby and I were out all afternoon and I started feeling sick. We'd been in the car to Denver and around the west side and the smog was so bad my stomach turned over. We got back home and it was better to be in the house. But jeez!
