1. "Democrat"?
Remember, he was one of the leaders of the gang that got the 'deal' from the radical Republicans to preserve the filibuster in exchange for letting Bush get his rightwing court appointees.

Now how has that worked out?

Salazar was also the guy sitting right next to Gonzo at his Attorney General confirmation hearing?

And how has that worked out?

You were correct to out the word Democrat inside quotation marks.

2. Oh yeah, he's a real macho guy, that Salazar
He just seems to love law enforcement and AGAG. :Puking:

As I wrote in another thread, I have to keep reminding myself that he is still better than Pete Coors (what a right wingnut that guy was/is...)

3. Slalazar has seriously disappointed me on some of the major issues.
He voted in favor of the Military Commissions Act of 2006, he voted for this FISA bill... I'm glad he won, but he has disappointed me more often than I would like.

I agree that he's better than Pete Coors, but he sure hasn't done much toward protecting our civil liberties or upholding the Constitution.
