Karma's Shock and Awe: Newspaper complicit in bush's wars ends publication. |
|
The Rocky Mountain News did not do its job during the bush presidency so people turned to the internet for the truth. Perhaps this would have happened anyway, but the bush presidency quickened the result. Although good people did work for this newspaper, one cannot help but appreciate the ironic result that bush's depression toppled this conservative ivory tower.
Indeed, everywhere you look these days, Karma is sending shock waves throughout the land of conservatives. These are the conservatives who thought they could wage war on America and come out rich. Americans who suffered during the unfair and immoral years of the bush presidency continue to suffer, but they should take some delight in the fact that the institutions that gave bush his power are taking big hits.

1. Both The Rocky and The Post failed to cover the stories... |
|
I read on the internet. Don't just blame the Rocky. At least Mike Littwin tried. This whole city is very sad right now. Don't hit someone when he's down.

3. True, the city feels bad about this and Mike Littwin is very good. |

It is a tremendous shock. The Post is every bit as guilty as the Rocky Mount News too. I will admit that it's very Republican of me to feel that if something deserves to fail it should. In this case, bush's immoral war killed a million Iraqis and harmed America too. The bush presidency is not going to sneak off without everyone seeing the ugliness of his actions.
Democrats knew that the bad Karma of the bush presidency would come back to hurt everyone. It's just too bad it's hurting good people and not just Republicanism.

2. I hope Mike Litwin lands on his feet, and I hope it's in Denver. |

He's a good guy, and I got to meet him on one occasion.
