Vestas America's is not yet done with its Colorado hiring sprees.
Company officials announced this morning that they will need an additional 850 employees in the next year to staff the company's new wind turbine blade manufacturing company in Brighton, plus add 100 more to the Windsor blade manufacturing plant.
Company officials granted Colorado media a tour of its new nacelle and hub manufacturing plant in Brighton, about 45 miles south of Greeley just off of U.S. 85. The plant just opened last week with 280 employees.
Later this morning, they will grant tours of Vestas' Pueblo tower manufacturing facility, which also has 280 employees.
“We've now hired more than 1,000 significantly skilled workers and we continue to seek qualified people,” said Tourben Poulsen, manager of the nacelle and hub plant, now the company's largest nacelle manufacturing facility. “Vestas has never backed down from our stated commitment to bring three factories online” in Colorado.

Way too many illegals are being hired by the contractors there, which drove my uncle out of biz. He would hire only legal Americans.
