Bennet is declared winner!
And I hope he rejects any support from Romanoff who had to rely on such negative advertising towards the end.

I wouldn't even vote Romanoff for dog catcher now.

1. Romanoff would've made a good Senator as well.
I believe he was advised poorly on his campaign from the get-go. I've always preferred Bennet, but only slightly; Romanoff would've represented us well in Washington, too.

I hope Romanoff remains active in CO politics.

2. I agree that it looked like both would have made a good Senator.
But that was months ago. I supported Bennet because I saw that he could beat the Republicans and Romanoff couldn't raise the money.

But the last month showed the true lacking of Romanoff. And not just money.

3. "Senator Buck"
Sorry, folks.

There is no way in this political environment that a Phil Anschutz hatchet man is going to get elected to anything.

6. Romanoff called for party unity, as he should have. He knows what's at stake.

He did get terrible, terrible advice during the campaign. Let's just hope it's not too late and that it didn't tear the Colorado Democratic Party apart. We sure as hell can't afford a teaparty Senator for the next 6 years.
