4. They don;t seem to have the LTTE's online |
|
New HAven is a fairly liberal area, but we still get some hawks and RW'ers around here. So I was pleased to see that 3 of the 3 letters they published yesterday were about Cindy and all 3 were in favor of what she is doing.
I still have the paper at home so I could fax the page to anyone interested or scan into a pdf and email it.
Today's edition has a short letter praising the silent vigils for peace that were held here last week

5. well, New Haven may be liberal... |
|
You also have to remember, that the Register is not just New Haven. There are also some wealthy suburbs that are probably more moderate – Orange, Woodbridge, Guilford, Madison, etc – if not Republicanish.

6. N.H. Register is not a liberal paper |
|
At least not the people who owe and operate it. The Register is owned by the Journal Register Company and they are big REPUKES.
I think even the editor and publisher are pukes.
It can be liberal at times b/c it is in New Haven, which is a big liberal city, I think it was ranked as No. 15 most liberal in the nation, there was an article on most liberal cities in the Register a few weeks ago.
But the Register did endorse Shrub in Nov. It's nice to see some editorials that are supporting Cindy in the Register.
