doesn't it?
They recognize hetero marriages granted in other states even when the conditions for such marriages are sometimes insufficient for purposes of getting married in CT. Therefore, they will have to recognize gay marriages performed in MA, even if they don't perform gay marriages in CT.

Forget 2nd class civil unions...Why can't our Democrats who control the State House & Senate pass same sex marriage this next session? They have the votes to do so..... Let the Governor veto it and show how she is not for equal rights. I don't get it, Whats the problem?

I first thought it was positive in recognizing other civil unions... but, then didn't realize it excluded marriage.
