Dodd, Lieberman Support Roberts |
|
Is anybody surprised? This should get Lieberman another kiss and hug from George Bush. If Lieberman likes Bush and the Repukes so much maybe I will like the Repuke that runs against him.

2. Lieberman will be virtually unchallenged |
|
Nobody on the Democratic side will dare go against the party and the top Republicans in state won't risk losing their House seats (in Nancy Johnson, Chris Shays or Rob Simmons) or the governorship (in Jodi Rell)

4. CT NOW and other CT Pro-choice groups met with Lieberman |
|
a few weeks ago. They made their pitch, but they came away with the feeling that Lieberman was going to vote for Roberts.
I pray that as Repuke machine begins to crumble under the weight of justice, that Lieberman will be sent adrift and powerless.

would like to see him run with John McCain in 2008. He thinks it would be an unbeatable ticket.
He also said he doesn't think it would ever happen.
I couldn't find a link, but it was in yesterday's Westport News.
