Now I am waiting to be assigned. I had asked to work with other volunteers if possible and also for daytime work.

When I signed up to volunteer for Wes Clark back in 04 I got emails about evening Meet ups at Anna Liffey's, a restaurant and bar in downtown New Haven. I had hoped that there would be a daytime opportunity. While I have nothing against meetups with likeminded people, going to a bar and sitting around drinking and schmoozing wasn't what I wanted to do. I hope I can be useful to Ned's campaign. He's a decent guy.

the caller from the campaign was going out of town but left her email address. I promptly emailed her, restating my interest. That was late last week. I expect I'll be emailed back or called soon.
