My relative in CT legislature sent me this... (edited out his email) |

to gets ome local flavor on the Lamont-Lieberman race, check out www.connecticutlocalpolitics.blogspot.com and www.myleftnutmeg.com. I was on the stage with Ned last night in Meriden at the victory party. It was a great night. My only disappointment was in the primary for governor. I was supporting Dan Malloy, and thought he had a fighting chance to beat popular R, Gov. Rell. I don't think the winner will do well in the general.

2. I'm afraid I'd have to disagree with your relative. |

I think that Mayor DeStefano (my former mayor) has the better chance of beating Jodi Rell!! He's got more experience with the intricate diversity in a large city like New Haven, than does Malloy, from a wealthy southeastern town, who's populous are mostly wealthy professionals !! John D. will reach out to more poor and middleclass citizens of Ct. He's been around the block, and knows the in's and out's of dealing with the FED's!! I supported him, and I am grateful that I wasn't alone! The people have spoken!! This is not just "my opinion". DC:party: :toast: :bounce:
