UAW Backs Lamont
Madore (director of UAW Region 9A, which represents about 20,000 active and retired members in Connecticut) said he is "trying to figure out what (Lieberman) is… Today he’s a Democrat, tomorrow he’s independent, the following day he’s a Republican."

"My sense is that Senator Lieberman is running as the de facto Republican candidate," said Lamont. "I think he’s getting a lot of quiet support and not-so-quiet support from official Republican circles, starting from the White House and here in the state."

Lamont called himself "an old fashioned Democrat … running against two Republicans."

Gerstein shrugged off Lamont’s claim. "They can’t change the fact that he’s a Democrat who has a strong progressive record," Gerstein said of Lieberman.

"Joe Lieberman is a Democrat, he will be a Democrat and he is committed to being part of the (U.S. Senate) Democratic caucus if he’s re-elected," said Gerstein.

1. Then I would ask Dan Gerstein this...
"Joe Lieberman is a Democrat, he will be a Democrat and he is committed to being part of the (U.S. Senate) Democratic caucus if he’s re-elected," said Gerstein.

Then, why is he not endorsing other state Democrats?

2. But Firefighters didn't
IAFF Continues Support for Senator Lieberman

August 10, 2006 - IAFF General President Harold Schaitberger told MSNBC’s “Hardball” August 8 that the union would continue to support Senator Joe Lieberman (D-CT) as long as he remains in the Senate race. Lieberman said after his narrow defeat in the August 8 Connecticut primary that he will run as an independent.

“Joe Lieberman has earned the support of fire fighters and our International union for his long record of support and leadership in passing laws that help our members do their jobs and protect our homeland and national security,” President Schaitberger told “Hardball” host Chris Matthews.

“If Joe Lieberman is running for re-election in November, we’ll be supporting Joe Lieberman,” Schaitberger said from Chicago, where he was attending an AFL-CIO Executive Board meeting. “Regardless of the party label that he carries, he’ll be the same Joe Lieberman tomorrow that he was yesterday and for the last 18 years, and we stand with those who stand with us.”

3. My Sense Is That;
Edited on Mon Aug-28-06 01:32 PM by Wash. state Desk Jet
Lieberman is smoking Joe, the crossing in between. Between he and the people ,Lieberman is of the idea ,as are many republicans, that the republican party is controlled by the few in power of the right wing.
They the Bull Moose party disagree with that. They want it different, more to the middle. This is why Lieberman masquerades as a democrate.

The new wave in the up comming well to doers and some old moneys too want the republican party to move more tword the middle. And that has been tried with no sucess what so ever many times. Than there is the young up comming college professionals that want to handle their own moneys and also want less goverment intervention, or less government .

These are the target voters, and than there is the youth vote. Jobs and a stable economy.

So idea is to form two republican partys . In that idea the idea there is to pull the republican party over to the middle, slanted just to the right.
Lieberman is now the Bull Moose Party. Rather they ready or not ,it out front. They however think it,s about time.

Magic mike MaGavic, the republican candidate for the U.S. Senate representing Washington state, or in truth large corporate atrocities ,is also one of (THEM). There are many of them. They want to revise the constitution. Make a republican strong hold out of it.
Sort of a swim or sink sort of a place. Be well and all that.

MaGavic, has a blog on My Space . com, where he is seeming like a George,e Bush sort of a guy, you know, talking to to young people, in a George sort of a way, you know, seeming like a regular joking George,e guy, ,you know ,more like Deek. One for the road ,always a laugh.

The political objective here is to attract the youth vote. Those that are swingable. Those that perhaps have not made heads or tails as of yet ,in so far as what is this business of republican vs. democrate. You know those that do not belong to a strong stable union ,where they may become educated to the facts.

You know, catch them when they are young and impressionable.
Make them believe they are part of something big.

Lieberman in his current situation is essientially forced to come out of the closet with his true beliefs. You know, what he is really all about.

What they are all ,-all about is theirselves. The Few.

What we really don,t want, is to raise children to fight their wars.
That for fact one.

For fact two and I believe this was already said, the last thing this country needs is two republican partys.

For fact three, it is the people that must put the fact of the matter clearly on the table.

Just Say No to that of a master plan.

We all make mistakes and are far form perfect or faultless,
But this country cannot be what it can be
And that,s do
Not just for itself ,But for all
Unless We Make It Happen.

Our countrys strength is of the people.
