John Ormand has taken over CT for LIEberman Party
Membership is open to critics of LIEberman, bloggers and people named Lieberman. I'm signing up !

-HARTFORD — The secretary of the state’s office said Wednesday it won’t challenge a critic who seized control of the Connecticut for Lieberman Party, which was created by Sen. Joe Lieberman in August on his way to a fourth term.

John Orman, a political science professor who ran briefly against Lieberman, I-Conn., last year, switched his party affiliation from Democrat to Connecticut for Lieberman after the senator’s victory.

Orman voted himself chairman and created rules that limit membership to critics, bloggers — and anyone named Lieberman. He said the party will be a "watchdog party" of Lieberman’s actions. <snip>

<snip>
Orman, of Trumbull, had bitterly protested Lieberman’s creation of the Connecticut for Lieberman Party last year, saying it was only a ploy to secure a better position on the ballot. In Connecticut, minor party candidates are listed on the ballot before unaffiliated party candidates.

1. I don't think it's a big deal
If Lieberman wants to run in 2012, he just creates still another new party...

2. I'm just happy that Orman is calling him out on this
It was a sham and we knew it

3. I think there should be an effort by "HIS OWN PARTY" to recall him
for not doing as he campaigned. This troop increase idea is very bad and deserves a state wide outcry.
